This policy outlines the conditions and processes for issuing refunds for Incense Making Machine Parts & Raw Materials purchased from Colt Smith. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Return & Exchange Policy.

1. Eligibility for a Refund

A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Approved Returns: You will be eligible for a refund for items that have been returned in accordance with our Return & Exchange Policy and have been approved after our inspection.
  • Order Cancellations: A full refund will be issued for orders that are cancelled by the customer before they have been shipped.
  • Defective or Damaged Goods: If a product you receive is defective or was damaged during transit. You must provide proof (e.g., photos) for verification upon contacting us.
  • Incorrect Items Received: If you receive an item different from what you ordered. This is subject to verification upon return.

2. The Refund Process

  1. Notification: Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected. We will then send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
  2. Processing: If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 3 business days. A credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, bank account).
  3. Crediting Time: Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. Processing times can vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Non-Refundable Items & Costs

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase (unless the return is due to an error by Colt Smith).
  • Return shipping costs paid by the customer.
  • Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Refundable”.
  • Opened or unsealed raw materials, due to quality control and hygiene standards.

4. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, we reserve the right to issue only a partial refund. This may apply if:

  • An item is returned that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • An item is returned outside the 3-day return window (acceptance of such returns is at our sole discretion).

The amount of the partial refund will be determined after a thorough inspection of the returned item.

5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you believe your refund is late, please follow these steps:

  1. Check Your Account: First, double-check your bank account or credit card statement to be sure the refund has not been posted.
  2. Contact Your Bank/Card Provider: Contact your credit card company or bank. There is often a processing delay before a refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact Us: If you have completed the above steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at order@coltsmith.in with your order number.
